Hi there, folks! My name is Stacey. I’ve been practicing yoga since 2016 when I began noticing the uncomfortable effects of my mind, body, and spirit living on different planets. My practice over the years has explored the various landscapes of these planets in the hopes of coaxing them closer together, encouraging them to trust the push and pull of the others. At this point in my short journey into a life-long practice, I’m beginning to notice that no one of these planets is more important than another; they all have their place inside our starry selves and require a little tending to keep them in kind communication. It all depends on what the moment calls for; what is needed. These are the question I’m interested in exploring together: What do I need? What do you need? What do we need? The practice of yoga is so much more than the physical postures. The practice I’m interested in is one that pushes my boundaries but isn’t unreasonable; is honest and kind; is personal, communal, accessible to all walks of life, and directly applicable to our lives off the mat. It tends to all that is within us so we can find peace in whatever is around us. Come hang out at The Nest where we can learn, discuss, move and grow toward cultivating the everyday skills of a yogic life, together.
